Pope Francis said, “We have a shared responsibility for each other and for the world.  We must hear both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor.”  ALL of God’s creation is bound together. 

 

In this season of new life, in worship, book studies, and fun outdoor activities together, we will be celebrating and seeking to be better stewards of this good earth God has created for us and entrusted to us.  We will be looking at our common home for the common good.

• Our focus begins this Sunday, April 11 in worship and will continue through May   

• If you’d like, get the book Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teaching of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer and join Pastor Tania for 2 discussions in our tent (in the parking lot) in May 

• There will be an Earth Day project for families, a scavenger hunt in the Westwood Hills Nature Center, a Pentecost party for everyone, and more!  Watch for details.
