BECOME A MEMBER OF WESTWOOD
We are a vibrant and caring community that welcomes all who seek God. We come together every week, knowing we are all broken people who seek love and grace. We then go out into our homes, schools and places of work to live out faith in our everyday lives.
Our New Member classes are held twice a year. These two-session classes include information on our mission and ministries, what it means to be Lutheran, and most importantly, it’s a chance for us to get to know you and for you to begin to develop relationships with each other!
New Member Class in 2 Sessions
Session 1 - Wednesday, April. 26. We'll start with dinner together, so come get a plate of dinner at our Community Meal (free) and head into the Fireside Room off the main Commons. We'll begin class by about 6:20. Done by 8:00. AND
Session 2 - Sunday, April 30, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM in the Westwood Room off the Commons.
New Members will be received at either worship service on Sunday, May 7.
We will provide childcare and also get you a Zoom link if you need that for a session, but you need to let Lisa in our office know: L.Boers@westwood.church. Please tell her ages of children, and/or if you need the Zoom link, and we'll email that to you the day of the session.
We ask that everyone joining attend both classes and make them a priority in your schedule.
