COMMUNITY MEAL

Wednesday nights, October through April, 5:00-6:30 pm, Westwood hosts a meal before Wednesday evening programs (Worship, Confirmation, and choir rehearsal) for participants and members of our wider community. A free-will offering and many volunteers help to keep it going!

What's on the menu?

The meal includes an entrée, vegetable, fruit, and dessert.

Menu options may be subject to change without notice. Bread is provided by BreadSmith.

​​Wed., April 1:  NO Community Meal during Holy Week. 

​​

Wed., April 8: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Garden Salad, baby carrots, orange, Ginger Snap

​​

Wed., April 15: Chicken Patty on a bun, pasta salad, sliced cucumbers, baby carrots, pickles, chips, pineapple, Coconut Mint Haystacks

​​

​Wed., April 22, Earth Day: Taco Salad, tortilla chips, lettuce, black beans, tomato, cheese, salsa, sour cream, baby carrots, orange smiles, Monster Cookie

FINAL NIGHT Wed., April 29: Grilled Brat or Hotdog on a Bun, baked beans, chips, veggies & dip, grapes, ice cream

Free bread pick up on Wednesdays after 4:30 pmFree bread will be on carts inside Door 2 (lakeside parking lot entrance). The bread is packaged by assigned volunteers.* Kitchen access* is for staff and assigned event volunteers.

We'd love your help.

On Wednesdays (now through April 29, 2026), a terrific team of volunteers prepares meals for the communities of Westwood and St. Louis Park. People of all ages are encouraged to volunteer, please join us!

Help is needed:​

  • driver to pick up bread from Breadsmith on Tuesday evenings

  • food preparation on Wednesdays (3 pm)​​

  • dishwasher on Wednesday evenings

  • pick up the after-meal laundry and washing it

​​

You can help on your schedule, once per month, every other week, whatever works for you!
