Just as roots sustain a tree through droughts, steady it through trials and storms, and nourish it to thrive, a community of faith has roots that connect us to one another and remind us of our rootedness in God’s love. We want to find ways to connect to those roots in this physically distanced time.
With that in mind, we are encouraging all Westwood members to participate in “Rooted in Faith and Fellowship” this fall. Each week, we’ll send out a sheet with lots of options to connect with one another--social check-ins, a recipe, discussions about the sermon on Sunday and speakers on Wednesday...and you can choose what your group wants to focus on. If you feel comfortable gathering physically distanced/masked in people’s yards, you are welcome to, but the curriculum will be set up to be primarily virtual over Zoom or whatever platform you choose.
