Spring Communion Training

Sunday, March 8 | 12-1:30 PM | Westwood Room

Join us as we learn more about the sacrament of communion and the meal that is given for each and everyone one of us. If this is your first-time taking communion or the five hundredth, you are welcome to be part of this conversation. We will have stole kits available for those who would like to celebrate their first communion at an upcoming communion service. Westwood practices open communion, encouraging parents to choose the right time for their child. This conversation is helpful in making that choice, understanding why you already made that choice, and helping your child to understand why we get to “taste and see that the Lord is good” in this holy meal. RSVP here or below for lunch and stole counts.

Next Wednesday, June 24 at 8 PM will be our final Holden Evening Worship before we take the month of July off for a short break!

We’ll be gathering for Holden Evening Prayer on Zoom!

Zoom is a video calling platform where we can all see one another’s faces, so that we feel like we’re able to be in community together even though we are physically separated. Participants will be muted, and are invited to open the document below for the words to sing along in your own home. Click “join with computer audio” to hear the service.

If you’d like to join by phone, dial 312-626-6799 and enter meeting ID 366 530 426 (you don’t need a participant ID)

Looking forward to seeing many of your faces online and worshiping together in virtual community!

The office phone is being answered and one of the pastors remains on-call 24/7 and can be reached through our voicemail system. Thank you.
